I have my own Pool cleaning business with currently 39 pools, with a variety of surfaces including Pebble Tea, fibre glass, drop in moulded pools and Liners. Unique Weather down here so it can be a battle with chemical balance.
Hi and welcome to TFP! Here is a link to help you get up to speed on how we do things here at TFP: Pool Care Basics
Here at TFP we teach pool owners how to care for their own pools using a good test kit. I will say the TFP method of pool care is not conducive to having a pool company as it is more than dump and dash once a week.
What kind of weather make it harder to have a good chemical balance? Here is Florida we get lots of rain so I know I have to watch my CYA when I have to drain water to keep it from overflowing. That is where having the good test kit comes into play big time!
We are off the north coast of Africa, so we don't get much rain, but get many calimas, which is hot dusty winds from the Sahara. I love to work with salt chlorinators, but you still need to work with them, its a common misconception that the machine does it all for you.
