Green Pool and Pool Stores closed

Hi there,

In Bermuda our pool supply stores are closed. Our pool is green. We have chlorine tablets and two bottles Clorox. It has been suggested we put a bottle of Clorox in the pool. Is this a good idea? What else can we do?

And hardware stores are open.

Pool has a sand filter.

You need more then two bottles of Clorox to clear a green pool.

How many gallons in your pool?

Does your hardware see liquid chlorine in any form? Can they order it for you?

What test kit do you have?

We use the SLAM Process to clear green pools. For that you need a test kit that can test CYA levels and FC over t0ppm.

Thanks very much ajw22. A pool cleaner maintains our pool and I know very little about it. I do know that the only things available are Clorox and chlorine tablets and we cannot receive non-essentials from abroad. I will wait it out.
