I have a Pentair Great White suction side cleaner which I have had for a number of years. Recently it has developed a problem that it will not stay flat on the pool bottom. The front, which has the bumper bar lifts up off the surface. Any ideas as how to correct this?

It lifts up off the surface even if the filter is not running. I have tried more suction, but that doesn't help either. My next attempt is to cut some SS plates to fasten to the front bumper.

There may be air trapped somewhere in the cleaner. When putting it in the water, turn it upside down.
