Golf ball sucked into main drain

Update. Ball is out of the drain line, along with a bunch of other stuff lol. New covers installed on the drains in the pool. So relieved that is over lol.

How did you retrieve the golf ball?

Water hazard. That's a stroke penalty for sure.

Do you have a shop vac that can reach the drain? If so, I would turn off the pump and try to suck the golf ball through the drain.

There is a full metal jacket line that's ringing in my head.
