Please help me. I've been pumping the pool water to sewage 1 foot and refill and my chlorine, it only has gone down about 50ppm. And my salt generator has calcium stuck to it.

I've been trying to keep the cyanuric acid and pouring 1/2 gallon of chlorine during the day and pumping for 3hr and 27 minutes and take an hour to refill so I can turn on the pool by 6 am. Is there another way to get rid of the calcium hardness? I keep reading and reading. Any suggestions?

My pool is pebble tec and the day time temperature was over 100 degrees outside,
FCL 0.27
pH 7.5
Alk 120
Hardness is now 363 ( I want to get to 250 if possible)
CYA 41
Salt 1368 ( I don't want to add Salt til I can get the Hardness down.

Why am I losing so much chlorine?

Low cya or algae.

Do this test tonight to rule out algae. Link—>Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

Get some more chlorine in now.

If you fail OCLT, follow the slam process. Link—>SLAM Process
I just did a Green to Clean to kill the algae and its in my filter, I have to clean the filter. Hard to do stuff while I am at work. Maybe that is it?
