I will be eliminating my D.E filter for a cartridge filter, Because that means re-doing plumbing I was thinking about adding a salt cell. Since the pandemic chlorine has been sold out 95% of the time so that sucks but at the same time it would be nice to have a more or less "maintenance free" pool. I have pebble-tec as well, is there any downsides besides cost of the system ($1700ish) and re-plumbing (which im doing anyways)? Is there a system you recommend if I do go salt? Thank you!
