Getting small amounts of algae

Hi Folks,

I'm new to this and have the test kit you suggest here. I keep getting small bits of algae, and get on top of it pretty quickly with brushing and vacuuming. I'm guessing I need to do my first SLAM. Please offer any advice that you can. Thanks in advance!

Your pH is good for the SLAM Process and your SLAM FC is 20.

Stock up on Liquid Chlorine and follow the process step by step with no shortcuts until you satisfy all three exit criteria.

I see you have an above ground pool- be sure to clean your steps/ladder inside and out. They are known to be ground zero for algae.

I had to SLAM in early June. My ladder was absolutely disgusting once I took it apart.
