Pool place is replacing my liner. To save money, they said I could drain and remove my old liner. Any advice on this?

Don't let the pool sit long without water in it waiting for the new liner to be installed. The water supports the walls and without the water the walls can cave in. If it needs to be sit without water then you need to brace the walls with 2X4s.

The liner installer said I need to remove the wall light completely. Pulling the wiring out all the way back to the house!
Does this sound right? Kind of a pain.

Makes sense. Cutting the light hole in the liner is done after the liner is in place.
We had to have a liner replaced under warranty. They did not pull the light wiring out.
