I am installing my Omnilogic and have a question about the LV connection to the Hayward Universal H-Series Heater. I have an attached spa that shares all equipment with the pool. I will be mostly heating the spa but may occasionally want to heat the pool. Which is a better connection type, 2-wire or 3-wire? The manual talks about it a little but does not indicate which is preferred for this configuration.

Apparently there is no need for a fireman's switch in modern heaters. From what I gather the 2-wire vs 3-wire connection is related to which devices thermostat is used.
