Garden hose stuck in skimmer line

I have probably done of the least intelligent things in my life yesterday

I pushed the garden hose with the connector into our skimmer line, hoping to clear up a blockage in the skimmer line.

I pushed the garden hose far too deep, about 13 ft in.

For the life of me I cannot seem to get it loose, it seems like it's stuck in there forever.

Does anybody have any suggestions for getting the hose out?

I'm at my wits' end!

Called a couple of plumbing/swimming pool companies and they wouldn't know what to do either.

In ground or above ground pool? I have an idea but need to know what you are dealing with.

I think I'd try twisting and jiggling it trying to get it free. Does it have any play like it's snagging on a fitting?

It's an in ground pool, 20000 gal

Pump is a Pentair Superflo P-SFL-153

I have been twisting and pulling on all different angles for two days but it feels like the garden hose will break before it'll get loose
The hose doesn't have too much play, I can push it forward a lot if the pump is on, I can push it forward about 2 inches if the pump is off
I'm also slightly worried about the hose attachment breaking off and getting stuck in the pipes
I think it's stuck in a 90 degree elbow

Okay so here is my idea..........see if you can follow me:

-get a drain blaster-there are many kinds.

-bend the hose outside the skimmer many times to "close" it off so no air or water could get through the bends. I am thinking using a big zip tie to keep the bends in it.

-put the drain blaster in the pipe from the equipment side (with everything turned off)

let her rip!

What do you think? I think it might work!

Depending on how long the run is, and how much hose you have left, I would try to push it till it pops out on the pump end. Then you can cut the hose and pull it through.

Finally got it out by pushing, twisting and pulling at the weirdest angle, with my back facing the pool!

Apparently my skimmer line wasn't clogged either, need to find out why air bubbles start appearing when there's only a handful of small leaves in the skimmer basket

Small bubbles-check and make sure there is lube on the o-ring of the pump basket lid.

Hopefully you were playing some music so if your nbors saw you, they were thinking you were dancing...what type of hose attachment did you have on the end? Usually just an open hose will work when you turn it on...this not only moves any potential debris, but is also removes any air too.
