Found a juvenile king snake in my garage last night....well, I found it AFTER my wife got home from work, got out of her car and screamed her head off

Found a new use for my extra long BBQ tongs....put the little guy in a plastic bucket and showed all the kids. My 5 year old, Stephen, named him “little oval” because I was teaching the kids that it did not have a triangular head like a rattlesnake.

So little oval went back outside to a nice little squirrel home out front to go find a snack. Bonus is the king snakes chase the rattlesnakes away so I’m happy to have him in my property.

Go git ‘em Little Oval!!!

Your stories of snakes and spiders is how we get through the winter up here...

I shall try to keep up on my duties :salut:

He is a good one to have around! Poor wife though!

Kim:kim:

I think she was more startled than scared. She really does the “girly scream while leaping up on a chair” thing whenever there’s a spider in the house....and don’t even show her a potato bug, she’ll freak out...cutting open human beings and removing vital organs, no problemo...

They also chase away bigfoots. If you haven't seen any, thank the snake.

Hmmmm....good point. I guess I should stop spraying all of that concentrated Snow-Yeti urine around my house. And that’s a bummer too because I just got a great deal on it in bulk - two 55 gallon drums for $129.99....I’ll see if I can use it as a supplemental algaecide in the pool.
