You can estimate 80 gallons per person per day for personal usage. Also, the area of a spa is the easiest to figure out because it is a square/rectangular shape and is like a donut. So I be happy to help with that if you have the dimensions. Although the pool is the one to really track. Another idea is to take a snapshot of the water meter at certain depths, such as when water reaches bottom step, when water covers the bottom step, etc. This is helpful then to know the gallons at each step in the event you have to drain the pool for some reason, then you know for example, the top of the 3rd step is x gallons, or the top of the seat in the deep end is x gallons.
