Freeze protection on Secondary pump?

My Hayward pump connected to my pool/spa seems to be running just fine in our freezing temps here in Texas today.

I noticed some ice building up inside my secondary pump that runs my waterfalls. Then it occurred to me, maybe the Omni freeze protection mode only works with the primary pool pump and not for secondary one for water features.

Is that correct?
If yes, should I be running my waterfalls 24/7 during the freeze?

What automation system do you have?

You either need to run the water fall pump or drain it.

The Omni should run all of the pumps if it is setup properly. However, you have to enable freeze protection for each device.

Crisis averted!! Sounds like my secondary pump didn’t have freeze protect enabled. All good now! Thanks
