Good evening guys,
Just had a week of heavy rains and just been so busy I have not had time to take care of the pool like I always do. Tested my water tonight with the test kit and PH is showing a little high 8.0 (probably from all the rain) and my chlorine read 0 which I’m thinking from all the rain. Pool is cloudy but still blue. Brushed and I can see some algae on the wall but like I said it’s not green. It’s still there though. Pool math said to add 307 oz of liquid chlorine. All I got is 128 oz of liquid chlorine that I went ahead and added tonight. I’m new to this slam process. I don’t have any more liquid chlorine. What should my next steps be? Wait till the morning to test again to see where the chlorine is reading and add more? Also, I have granular shock. Would it be ok to use that even though liquid is preferred?
