I was working for days to get my CYA down to 70, and by the time I accomplished that, I forgot to account for the pH. It was at 9 when I started. Should I add hcl now? Do I have to start over? Worry about it later?

Add enough muriatic acid to lower the pH by 0.4 points. Then ignore it until after the SLAM.

Great. Add the acid to lower pH by 0.4. Then only test FC until you are done with SLAM
