We just had our pebble tec put in followed by an acid bath the next day then we filled the pool. When the pool light was on tonight we noticed a footprint on the sun shelf. I will get in touch with the PB about this Monday, but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a way to fix it without redoing the plaster?

Footprints in plaster seem to be an all too common problem. An acid wash may lessen or remove it. But an acid wash removes a thin layer of plaster and can decrease the life of it.
If it is only noticeable with the pool light on I would live with it. Chances are you are only one who will ever see it.
