I have an IC20 (intellichlor) that is 4 years old. The flow light has no color/is off. The salt level lights are flashing green then red. Salt levels tested and are in range.

Replaced the flow switch and same issue flow light still will not light up. Generic version flow switch for replacement but same 3 wires and colors. Any ideas on my issue? Tried unplugging and resetting breaker with no luck. Don’t want to buy a new cell unless necessary.

If I do need a new cell I was looking at a generic such as APX P20. Reviews look good but does not link with pentair automation. Does that mean I would manually have to turn the cell on each time or could I set the same time the pump turns on from my pentair/intellichlor board?

Thanks!!!!!!!

PT,

The IC-20 flow light is either green or red.. The fact that it appears off most likely means the LED is dead, or some other issue with the cell itself..

When you initially turn on the cell, the red and green salt lights will flash like a railroad crossing for about 5 minutes or so, while the cell runs tests for the salt level.

If the flashing does not stop, the cell is bad.

My Dad taught me a long time ago to buy good tools and equipment, as you smile every time you use them.. Buying generic cells will just make you cry every time you use them..

Thanks,

Jim R.
