I was hoping to see you getting back to this huge endeavor! Good luck and make sure there are some adults drinks in the fridge for when you get done each day!
Oh, I couldn't abandon this project if I wanted to! The hole is too close to my foundation
...Anyways, got a good amount done the last two days. It might not seem like much on video but it's quite a lot of earth moving to get the trench back into shape.
I have to work today, but that's fine with me. I'm so sore all over. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain, but I'll still be in the hole working when/if possible.

Well, there's no rebar in it yet! But rest assured, I'll get the caps. Definitely not leaving something like that to chance.
What is holding the forms at the corner you have worked on? That looks like rebar but it might be sticks but still can hurt if someone falls on it. Yes I am a worry wort LOL
Oh those! Ground stakes. It never even occurred to me since they sit so low to the ground but you're right, it could be dangerous.
