First time slamming question as to timing

I have drained and refilled and just added acid to lower the ph prior to start adding chlorine. what Would you recommend as to the time of day to start adding the chlorine I am in Houston area and it is hot and sunny. since it says to test numerous times a day, should I start first thing in morning or does it matter. Thanks

Start the SLAM Process now. No time like the present.

Start in the morning before the sun gets on the pool. Then test again and add chlorine as needed for the SLAM at 10ish, 2ish, 5ish, and again after the sun is low and off the pool. This is how I manage a SLAM.

Put the chorine in, how long until I do first test

Try to test at least 3-4 times per day. So it is 5 pm there. Test at 8 pm and add chlorine. Then again in the early am.
