I updated my profile as others hace suggested. Any suggestions welcome.

My builder turned my pool over. Not 100 percent sure of my cya levels. Will test in better light on Saturday. chlorine is out of sight too.

Concern is Calcium Hardness. How much hardness increased should I add to start. Don't want to go hard at first but pool math says I need almost every bit of this 25 pound bag.

Also it's been almost 4 weeks since it was filled. Pebble tec surface. Can I use my robot vacuum now? I used it once Tuesday and had more than a few pebbles in the basket.

What test kit are you using?
How confident are you in your test results?
How did the CYA go from 0 to 90 in 20 days? How much CYA/stabilizer was added?

Here is a link to the extended test kit directions.

Usually after 30 days it is fine to use your robot.

Great job linking PoolMath to your user profile here in the forums.

Fill out your signature with pool, pool equipment (manufacturers and model numbers) and test kit info.
This will assist us in providing you help without needing to ask for this vital info each time.

If your new Pebble Tec is like mine you will indeed find a lot of loose pebbles and sand for the first few months.
Be sure to weekly (or more) brush the walls and anywhere the robot vacuum cannot easily reach to a place where the robot (or a manual vacuum attachment) can easily reach.
You may even notice little clouds of sand/dust when you brush.
After about 3 months I cleaned out my CCP520 filter and there were GALLONS of sand in it.
After that the filter pressure drop returned to normal and I have seen very little sand/pebbles since then.

The other thing I almost messed up was throwing CYA pellets directly into the pool and letting them sit on the bottom. The contractor saw me do it and directed me to immediately start brushing them and vacuuming them around so they wouldn't etch the pebble Tec.
This was quite a chore because they would not dissolve easily at all.
I believe this forum recommends the "sock method" for adding CYA.
In general, before you do some new thing, it's best to ask this forum & check a respected source on YouTube.
