First Pool and Crazy Numbers

Hi. I just moved into my first house with a pool and tested the water with my new Taylor 2006C-Salt. Numbers seem way high. I guesstimated the pool is about 9k gallons with a 7x7 spillover spa. Would appreciate any advice on getting this in check.

Fc 38ppm (yes, not 3.8)
Cc .6-1 ppm
Ph 8.0+
TA >200 never turned red
Ch 250-300
Salt 4000 Taylor (3600 aqualine)

As your FC level is elevated, your pH test is invalid. It can also be impacting the TA test process. See Total Alkalinity - Trouble Free Pool
As Mike asked, CYA. That is a key parameter to know the path forward.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.

CYA seems to be about 60. I’ll reread that too, thanks. Still trying to remember everything I’ve read the past few days.

CYA of 60 is good. Leave the SWCG off. The FC will fall. May take a few days.
