Laceygirl, I'm in Australia too and have exactly the same pool as you had originally. I can see in your pictures that you've placed it on concrete pavers, did that work okay? We've got one end which is sinking and we're thinking of using pavers on that end. I have serious pool envy now with the larger one you are going for next.

Hi Mollyj.... Glad to help... I would definitely use pavers underneath it.... We had heaps of rain here last summer, and it made my pool drop over an inch... :-/ Luckily we were near the end of the season and pulled it down.... I've gone with sleepers for this one as this pool will weigh 18 tonnes.... That's heaps of weight.. Yours will weight about 7-8 tonnes.... Prep is everything... I hate it but its a necessary evil.....Keep in touch.....
Thanks Kimkat, I did start antoher thread, then noticed this one with a similar pool. Thanks too Laceygirl, that helps a lot, we drained the pool and today got it leveled at one end - the other end is absolutely fine. Now, the levels are about an 3cm's out from one end to the other but it looks so much better than before where one side was completely bulging. Hub's reckons it's okay - if it all collapses I can blame him lol, he's been so great considering he doesn't swim and will probably never set one toe in the pool.
I so wished I'd found this forum before set up and purchase - although I do love this pool and for this year it will be perfect. Next year I'm already planning a bigger better one - as long as funds permit I guess we can all relate to that one. Your set up preparation is looking awesome, can't wait to see it all finished.
Hi Kim, I have to wait for the water truck and it isn't available till later in the week.... I also have to finish the plumbing... I'm still searching for parts.... There is nothing standard about Intex fittings... :-(
