Finally got my RJ60+ Help needed

Would this work,
Digging down, extending the return from the heat pump via coupler then 90 up then over with the SWG on top flow indicator in front of SWG then 90 back into the return for the pool?

I like @wireform’s idea of putting it over at the heat pump output. You could make it pretty clean there, even digging down to relocate where those pipes go down/up. In addition, I would use the opportunity to put a bypass for your heater since you have an IFCS (significant pressure/flow loss for IFCS with heater always in line) unless you use your heat pump often.

Don’t hesitate to replace any heater/filter unions if it helps. I used these:

If you are set on changes near the filter and you had to, any of those existing pvc fixtures can be “reamed out” and reconnected using one of these:
This one worked great for me.

It doesn’t seem that moving the filter on it’s pad does any good for you but that is also an easy option if you can find any advantage to do it.

Finally…
Looks like that T and associated valve can be moved/adjusted fairly easily if you need to, is that valve for a Venturi skimmer?

Yes it is
