Can someone help me with how to clean off greasy waterline stuff in my in ground pool, also I need to get rid of some black looking stain at the very top of the pool line (part where the water stops) thanks

Started using these at the end of last season based on good reviews. Prior to that I was having to scrub that black dirty deposit from the waterline tile once a week. Scum Balls (heh heh "he said.....", cue Bevis and Bullhead) seem like they'd be a gimmick I know. My experience is that they work. Not a single instance of scum line since.
While I was usi g baquacil products, I would use their Surface cleaner. A small, quarter sized dot on a non-abrasive pad would clean 3-4 feet of surface edge, very easily. Does anyone know if this is suitable for a chlorine/SWG pool?
