Fiber Clear issues

I recently replaced all of the grids and manifold in my Pentair 60sq ft FNS DE filter. I took this opportunity to replace the DE with Fiber Clear and I am having to backwash constantly to get the pressure down. Any suggestions before I clean out all the cellulose and go back to DE? Do I need to add more fiber clear, do I have to much? I followed the instructions to a tee.

It doesn't have the same performance as DE and it has to be changed more frequently (as you have found out), or else it can become gummy and mess up the DE filter cloth.

I'd revert to DE.
