I'm curious if anyone has tested their FC over a day to determine when the FC is at its highest level and lowest level. This would be for those people who run their SWG 24/7. I would assume that the highest level would occur after sunrise. How long I don't know. I would think the SWG production rate would still exceed the loss from UV for a period of time after sunrise. Then at some point during the day UV loss would exceed production rate. The FC level would reach its lowest before sunset. How much before sunset I wouldn't know and likely depends on how shaded the pool is from the house or nearby trees.

I think you nailed it. At some point in the mid morning and afternoon, production matches loss and they flip flop at that time. It's a longer window of loss in the hot climates, and shade in the mid day might shorten the loss window.

I think you should execute this series of tests and report back, as a contribution to TFP! That is how a lot of TFP was developed.
