This is the first time I’m closing, as I’m sick of the various companies I’ve used over the years that didn’t do a good job.
I shocked the pool 5 days ago and planned on closing this weekend. My CYA is around 40 so I intended on shocking at 16; however, I must have added too much bleach as I ended up bringing the FC up to 20...anyway, I have been waiting for the FC to get down to around 3 but it’s only at 12 now. Is it OK for me to cover the pool at this point? Wasn’t sure of having that FC level at closing would result in any damage to the pool cover.
