Here's a detailed post from Leebo on why it was changed.

FC vs CYA chart location

Can anyone point me to the fc cya chart that used to be here somewhere? Had link buy changed ohones, link list. Now cannot find chart. Was green I think. Thank you.

And as the Summer continues so does the trend.……..the redesign is retainning more users both new and old. About the only “stat” that’s declining is the amount of clicks we’re seeing from Google Searches, but that statement can be made accross the board, not just for this page.

Poolstore already answered your question. Just wanted to add that the content in that table is the same as in the calculator that has replaced the table:

FC/CYA Levels

The new calculator is a bit more straightforward to use, and makes it clearer that the SLAM level is required to bring a cloudy and/or algae-green pool back in shape.

Some prefer the old table to see all FC/CYA combinations at a glance when helping others.
