FC as 7.5% of CYA

If you look at the FC/CYA chart you will see that the minimum FC level is 7.5% of the CYA level, rounded up. The Richard Falk mentioned in that article has over 12,000 posts on this forum and countless others on other pool forums around the web. He is better known as chem geek. He and Ben Powell get most of the credit for the FC/CYA chart we use today. As far as Lowry, well he took the ideas and ran with them and wrote some books. Good for him, if he is getting the industry to start to listen then he is helping the cause.

We don't really use the Pool Calculator though primarily because it is not managed by any TFP member. I'm sure it is fine but PoolMath is hosted by and updated by forum members so if there is a problem we know who to go to.
