I am adding pucks to get my CYA up from 30 to 40, as I am adding several my FC is maintaining around 9ppm. As warm weather is approaching is 9 ppm too high to swim in?
You can safely swim in a pool as long as the FC is above the minimum and at or below SLAM level based on your CYA. You must also be able to see the bottom of the pool in the deep end of the pool.
thanks. Yes, just finished a SLAM a few days ago, so part of the high FC is due to the SLAM, but mostly I think i it is maintaining around FC=9 since I am adding several pucks. Thanks, good to know
