What is your pH target? I would target 7.2 to help lower TA. And you will want CYA at 80 during summer.

Walmart carries granular CYA. Look it up online. My local stores have it for $14.86, and they'll price match their website for $12.77.

Question: what do you use to measure quantities of the granular CYA? Do you recommend a specific scale? (Bought the granular as suggested & realized when I got home that I had no way to measure what I needed).

I just use a plastic measure cup using the oz. markings. Works great for me!

I have a little kitchen scale I can use to measure anything I need pretty accurately. With the size of my pool, it either gets a half or whole 4lb container of granular cya, so I don't measure it.
