Epoxy pebble deck? Recommend or stay away?

I need to redo my pool deck, currently kook deck. How does that pebble deck hold up? I don't see many here. Want to hide the old kook deck and cracks in the concrete.

Considering an alternative to repairing the concrete and putting in new kook deck.

I'm in AZ so will take on a lot of sun and heat.

I'm not a fan of the pebble decks, as they are hard on the feet and tend to get hot. They will also lose stones over time. I don't know how well they will hold up in Arizona.
