I have a 18 x 48 Intex above ground pool that we just set up. This is our first pool as well. We decided to add the Intex Salt Water System to it. When I plug the pool pump into the GFCI outlet it works fine. I unplug it and plug in the Salt Water System and it immediately trips the inline GFCI on the cord. Not sure what is going on. Help

That is a weird one! I wold make sure you have the same needs for the salt system. Does it call for a bigger breaker or such?

Maybe something is really wrong with swg... Also note some intex swg have inline GFCI issues. Warranty service is the first choice. This person below had same issue. Since he was plugging into a GFCI protected outlet anyway.... He bypassed the inline gfci to get it going.

Cut the gfci end off and put regular cord end on it since you are plugging it into a gfci!
Or the GFCI outlet circuitry is not working.... Did you test the GFCI outlet and reset?
