I bought an EC40c92s off craigslist about 3 years ago and am pretty happy with it.
Looking like may need to replace diaphragm gasket, shaft hardware kit, clamp assembly hardware (one of the inserts a little bent), looking like about 110 there in parts, not major.
Looking and see a brand new EC40AC for 360.00, just filter (I just bought a new pump this season, so no need). Seems like a pretty good price.
So as I try to predict the future LOL, how long do the filter nests with the fingers generally last? pricing those, looks like if i need to replace them in a year or two, i'd be looking at a couple hundred dollars, and am wondering if i should just go ahead an pull the trigger on the brand new filter.
Not sure if I'm trying to talk myself into a new filter, but the way my luck goes some times, feel like i'm saving a penny today to spend a dollar tomorrow LOL
