Easytouch 4 buttons not working

I just took on a new pool with a easytouch 4. While trying to program I noticed it was in service mode. I tried switching it out of service mode but no joy. The button doesn't seem to be responding. Also the up arrow doesn't seem to be working and the over arrows are hit and miss. Is there something I'm missing or do you think I'm looking at a new pcb?
