easy/quick test for FC and more "objective" test for CYA?

I have the test kit below in my sig, but I was wondering if there was a faster way of testing FC if I want to do it more often. Like maybe some sort of an electronic measuring device.
Also, re: CYA, it seems a bit too subjective for me and I was wondering if there was something more objective.

Not for the residential pool owner. The electronic ways of testing chlorine are not reliable and are effected by CYA and other conditions. The CYA is a test that is best done by the homeowner. No other method available to the pool owner exist that are more accurate.

Wow. Maybe I've got too much time on my hands, but the four minutes it takes to check fc and pH by titration every other day is not really a major imposition
