How long after adding can we swim?
It’s a 24 ft round, I added 2 cups.

Watch out on the residuals from dry acid.
It can damage your pool:

I used to buy dry acid but then changed to Muriatic acid 4 good.

And always dilute muriatic acid in a bucket before pouring to the pool.
There are some pictures showing how pool plaster gets attacked when pouring directly at arms length (leaving discoloration exactly at arms length!)acid line.jpg

Is there any problem with diluting the muriatic acid? I could not find any negative effect.
You are handling it twice. Increases risk to spill it. Simply pour at a slow rate at the return into the pool with the pump running. If you wish, brush the area afterwards.

It’s not that it harms the MA, it’s just that the more you handle the more chance you have of inadvertently splashing on you, breathing the fumes, etc.
