Dolphin s300i question (super easy)

Finally got one this year. Reading through the documentation I think it says do not use if fc is over 4ppm is that what everyone else does or no?

Ignore it, it’s old obsolete information that doesn’t account for the buffering of the chlorine by cya. I use my dolphin regardless of my chlorine levels. Still going strong 5 years later.

I routinely have 10+ PPM of FC since my CYA is high and I have had no issues w/ my robot.

I also don't care what FC Maytronics recommends.. I'm sure it is there so that if push comes to shove they can use if for an excuse to say the problem is not theirs.. That said, I have yet to hear of a warranty claim that was turned down because of high FC...

I run my FC around 8 ppm or so and have a five year old dolphin that is still running fine..

High FC is just going to make any difference to the robot itself.
