Dolphin DX4 Robot going in same spot in pool

Hi All,

Has anyone ever had this happen?

I have a dolphin DX4 robot and no matter where I put it in the pool it always goes to the same spot in the pool and cleans the same area.

very weird, hoping theres a way to fix irt?

Most robots have no idea where they are in your pool. I am not sure what the problem is, but it is not because the robot is intentionally trying to drive to the same spot.

I can't think of anything in the robot that would cause it to go to the same spot.

Maybe gravity??? Does it always go to the deep end?

Did it work before and now it does not?

If this is a new robot, then I'd return it.

I notice you have a vinyl pool.. Is your liner very slick? Maybe the robot can't gain any traction? If this is an old robot, I would try new tracks.
