Does anyone have a sheer arc installed near the waterline?

Looking for a water feature to be built in the pool as we will only have coping, no decking. Builder is recommending a sheer arc to be installed slightly above the waterline, I’ve attached a picture. Haven’t seen much discussion on them, hoping to get some feedback!

Another option I just found were wall jet, similar to deck gets, but also installed in the pool near the water line.

You need strong water flow to get a good arc like in the picture. You may need to have a dedicated water feature pump. Pump and hydraulic design will be important to achieve your goal.

PB didn’t mention additional pump required. We are likely moving forward with wall jets, has anyone used these here? (Photo attached)

Wall jets need a lot less flow then sheers.
