Do I need to replace Hayward Filter cartidges with OEM?

I have a C5030 filter system, and I need to replace the 4 cartidges inside. I have found a couple options on Amazon that are significantly cheaper than OEM cartridges. They do have good reviews, but I'm nervous because I recently replaced the DEX2422Z2 seal with a non-OEM part, and it needed to be replaced within a couple months.

So, would y'all recommend OEM filter cartridges, or would a non-OEM be okay for this part?

Depends on the manufacturer. What specific manufacturer are the cartridges?

Some are better then others.

Click on the Seller information and you will probably see that the information is written in Chinese.

Most of the stuff on Amazon today seems to be low cost Chinese products of questionable quality.

Sorry, never heard of them. If you like to part ways with more money than you need to, go OEM. If you would rather save and want to be sure, I do like Optimum Pool Technologies other products so would trust their cartridges as well.
