Do I need a new Service Run?

I am double checking to see if I need invest in a new service run for my pool (Gosh I hope not). I have a 200 AMP service at my Meter for my home. I pulled the data from my power company. August is the highest month at around 320 KwH. That would translate to around 133.33 amps max used in a 24 hour period. So it would seem that my max for the year is 133 amps.

I have calculated I will need:
Salt 15 amp
Pump 20 amp
Control 5 amp
Valve 5 amp
Outlets 20 am
Low Voltage X

I am thinking I need an 80 amp service through the Intellicenter. If I add 80 amps in to my 200 current service that would be 213 amps total. Some suggest it is unlikely that my 80 amps would be on all at the same time though.

QUESTION: I was advised "You should talk to a pool equipment tech to see if it all runs simultaneously. If so, I would recommend upgrading your main service"

Your thoughts?

That seems like an incredible amount of power need for the system that you are running. If you are heating via electric then that could make sense. I assume most of your equipment is running on 240 VAC? Looking at a new heater and there is only a 2 amp draw with the 240 VAC supply pull for it...and max 10 amps for my Superflo pump full-out.

Perhaps worth chatting with an electrician that you trust? Curious what feedback others have...

You do not do an electrical load analysis by adding up the CBs. You need to add up the maximum amps on each piece of equipments data plate. Look at the various equipment specs. My estimate is...

Salt 2 amp
Pump 12 amp
Control 2 amp
Valve 1 amp
Outlets 15 amp
Low Voltage ??

30 amp pool pad is usually adequate for a single pump, no HP, configuration.
