I installed a CircuPool RJ45+ recently. That thread is here:

There was an issue with the plumber having to ream out a PVC union, and it leaked, so I used JB Weld WaterWeld to seal it, and it worked out fine for the most part. I thought my system pressure was around 17 psi. It now seem to be reading lower around 13, then went to 12 after a backwash. The return jets seem normal, pointing slightly upward and creating some aeration like they always do, as seen in the photos.
As you can see in the photos there is a slight drip in that PVC union area so I can add some more JB Weld to shore that up. Is it possible that is why the pressure seems lower? Is this pressure in the normal range or not? Does a SWG lower a pool's system pressure? As you can see, there is also a very, very slight drip from under the pump, just enough to make the concrete damp, and you can see also the damp concrete under the pvc union in question.
Also one unrelated question. With those returns pointed slightly towards the surface, am I creating too much aeration that might regularly cause pH or TA drift? I can re-adjust them, if so.
Thanks/G
Proper location for new SWG
I bought a Circupool RJ45 PLUS SWG, and want to confirm the proper location for it on my equipment. If my understanding is right, my pool heater is on the return side of the filter, and the chlorine feeder is on the return side of the heater, so that is where it should go: replace the feeder...
