DIY OB in Northern Virginia / DC / MD area

Hello,

I live in Northern Virginia and have gotten a few PB estimates for a 20x40 gunite pool but wanted to explore the possibility of doing a DIY or OB. I know the company that handles most of the gunite work in this area (Top Gun) but having a hard time finding subcontractors to handle the plumbing, electricity, and coping/tile work so would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi and welcome to TFP!

The thing to do would be to talk to the people who do the gunite in the area. Ask them for the names/numbers for the people THEY would want to do their pools. Go from there.

Just know it will be quite hard to find some of the trades that are willing/able to work on your one job with PB building so many so are consistent work.
