I want to poor a slab for my 12x24 intex pool. So I need to make the slab at least 17x 29? Do the support eggs stick out 2.5’ from the liner dimensions of 12x24?

They do stick out about 2.5 feet from the edge of the top rail but Intex suggests a 5' clearance, and if you're pouring a slab, I'd absolutely go with the whole 5', if not 6'. You'll want sufficient room for your equipment plus the ability to walk around the pool comfortably while you care for the pool (brushing, vacuuming, etc.).
