Diluted dawn dish soap

To kill springtails. Thousands of them. I use a watering can with diluted soap and drown them nightly. Today is the first time I’ve noticed the concrete looks speckled/spotty with grayish spots

Go for it.

Don’t slip and hurt yourself.

I’ll get some pics. I have more patio than pool. These are everywhere, not from a spill or drops of anything (bleach, ma, etc). I was thinking along the lines I’m breaking down the sealer with the Dawn?

Honestly that area is full sun from 11 am til sunset. The patio and pool are on the west side of the house no trees etc. but I’m willing to try most anything 😊

image.jpgThis is the “big” spot pictured above right now (full sun now) it does have lighter/ darker appearance with light and depending how recently it’s been wet

Any chance the dawn is cleaning some spots and it's getting washed off with rain? Maybe the darker areas are just dirtier than others or maybe the runoff pooled to make larger dark spots? 🤷‍♂️

That’s a real possibility. I should scrub the entire patio and see what happens.
The first few nights I was a lil heavy handed with the dawn 🤣 like a 5 gallon bucket of water with a “squirt” of dawn platinum. There were suds here to Kentucky
But i did hose everything down
