Exciting!!! Can't wait until we get to dig day (it seems so far off, though I imagine it will only be a few more weeks). That guy driving the bobcat doesn't look as excited though...
Each upright needs a paver to keep it from sinking into the ground. The paver should be dug down level with the ground and leveled this way and that way with each other. The pavers are not used to level the pool per say.........they should all be level with each other and the ground. IF you do not have pavers under each and every upright your pool could sink in that area.
I have a BIG sad for you That is not good work. My installer spent SO much time just working the sand to get it as smooth as could be. He made sure to work his way to the ladder so as to NOT leave any foot prints. He called me over to hold his feet once he got out so he could take the ladder out, lean over into the pool and smooth that last spot. I did not pay near as much as you did but know I got lucky in who I found to do the work!
All of them except the CYA. In fact you can go ahead and grab a sample now and do it as that is what you will be dealing with. CYA has to be added so your fill water will not have any.

Check and make sure they put a paver under each upright. Use a long flathead screwdriver and tap the area right beside the paver. You have a one year waranty on the install and the pool is not installed to manufacturer specifications. They must be installed within 1" of level. You paid for a level pool installation and they need to make it right. Did you pay cash or on a credit card? If you used a credit card you may have some leverage with the payment. Take lots of pictures and try to talk to the owner of the business. It looks like there are wrinkles in the pool floor as well. Was the owner there during the install?
I paid by check and he hasn’t cashed either one, half after the first day and the second when they were done. I asked him not to cash the second check until everything was level and he agreed.
I say work with the PB to get everything situated. You trust him/her, right? Open communication is the best form of resolving any issues for sure. Talk to the pool builder about your concerns.
