DFW Texas Pool & Spa Build (Round 2)

For the watering-----once the novelty of the bonding with your pool with a hose wears off you can set up a sprinkler or two to water it for you.

They should be able to work with the pipe like that. As you said it will be covered with stone. I WOULD point it out to the stone people and see what they say.

Electric looks to have been done today. Otherwise not much more progress. Tile, coping, and gas should be done by the end of the week.

Would you mind sharing your PB name? I'm thinking of building a pool and Claffey was too high for my budget. Thanks.

We ended up going with Puryear Custom Pools out of Ft Worth. So far they've been great to deal with and the one issue we had with having to replace the glass with tempered glass for our windows within 5ft they're taking care of. So no complaints yet!

Dad? They, the PB, is doing the window tempered glass for you as in HE is paying for it or ???

That pergola looks awesome!

Kim:cat:

Correct! I told the PB in the beginning I wanted no surprises and to make sure they include everything so when I talked to the sales person about this he apologized and said no worries they'll take care of it!

Pergola smaller than I anticipated, I assumed the post would be 10x16 but I guess there needs to be 18" or so of decking around them so it's narrower than expected but should still look good once all done.

What color of mastic will they be using? With the pretty BLING it will make a big difference in how it turns out.......gray or white will change it quite a bit. On one build they did the "test" using both so they could pick the one they liked the best.

Is mastic the same as the grout? We chose gray grout but I noticed they applied some stuff along the tile line, some gray and some white?
