I would like to use device runtime for my spillover mode. I would set it to 20 minutes and use it after I run the champagne spa to spill over the hot water when I’m done.
I set it up in the automation, but when I activate spillover mode in my automation “equipment” setting, it doesn’t turn off after 20 minutes as set.

Does anyone know if there’s something else I need to do to use this feature?

Thanks

Jim.

While I haven’t used “device runtime” it does have some limitations as to what it can be applied to. See page 25 of the iAquaLink manual below, specifically the NOTE section.

It does not appear that the device runtime applies to the spillover function, but you should be able to add the spillover function to one of the one touch menu items, and then apply the device runtime you want to that one touch function.

Then rather than activating spillover when you get out of the spa, you active one touch “n” and then it should (?) shut off after the time limit you set.

Give it a try and let us know if it works?

I use Device Run Time which is linked to One Touch. I set up One Touch for Cleaner then I set Device Run Time for the One Touch Cleaner for 45 mins. When I use One Touch to activate on demand cleaner it starts and turns off after 45 mins.

I have not tried to link Device Run Time to a specific Aux function.

I have found that what Jandy puts in the manual may NOT be an active function but something planned for the future. It can get very frustrating
