They can also cut it out and put a bull nose style brick in the area and then pour up to the brick. Do all the Corners and it will look great!
Nope. I don't want brick coping (all the joints annoy my wet feet) I'm waiting to meet with the owner, and at this point all that I want is not to pay for the coping. I don't want it cut out and redone, because I don't want the joint between coping and deck. I've now seen several pools built in this style, where there is no issue with cracking at that juncture, and the coping is smooth (unlike mine). So i know it could have been done like this perfectly, alas it was not.jhalpinjr said:I am curious to what you did about the cantilever and the corners? Are the cutting them out and putting bricks in? Repour?

Pool has been filling for 3 days, then sat for 2 with no Chems. Salt is 2900 ppm. They are shocking it apparently.duraleigh said:Do you have any CYA in the pool?
I haven't reread the whole thread so I can't remember why your FC is so high.....perhaps too high for a vinyl lined pool with no CYA
Good point on the ph with high FC, but now that it is lower tha 10 ppm you should test ph again and your result should be valid.harleysilo said:FC now 7
No CC
I read pool school, but it's been a few weeks.
I thought i couldn't trust PH readings with high FC. And CYA won't show up yet in testing will it?
FC has probably gone further down over the past 3 hours, hot And full sun.
Water temp 88

If you have added cya, how? I was reading you post as if no cya has been added. If it is the granualar type, then it can take up to a week to show in the test. I would ask to be in the loop for any chemicals they add.
